"I have been with the Dan Demory State farm agency for about 15 years. I began with them when I lived in Platte City and when I had to move back into Kansas City, I was delighted that they could continue to serve as my insurance agency. Everyone I have ever worked with there has been nothing but professional, a delight to work with, and have always been incredibly helpful. My son recently got a new car, just in time for snowmageddon 2025, and I called not expecting anyone to answer, but Holly was working remotely and was an absolute delight to work with. She got coverage on my son's new car taken care of, we discussed adding some additional coverage considering how expensive vehicles are these days, and she emailed our new cards to us in a flash. I'm always impressed by the professionalism, the service, and just the great staff at the agency. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. "I had a horrible experience with this company regarding drive safe and save. When I moved the beacon was sent to the wrong address twice even after an agent reached out asking me if I needed to change my mailing address. They then charged me $190 because I “cancelled” drive safe and save, which I never did they just weren’t sending the beacon to the right address. I then reached out to the company explaining what happened and was told I would most likely get a credit for this charge since it was a mistake on their end. I then was billed for the next month’s payment and not credited for the $190 payment that I should not have had to pay in the first place. They continued to tell me that “underwriting” denied the claim even though the WHOLE thing was a mistake on their end. Needless to say I cancelled my insurance with them and do not recommend them at all."
